Self care night routine


Human minds are well equipped for similar routines. Following some good routines will help boost the productivity and mental peace. The ultimate desire for every human being is to be happy and peaceful, the only way to feel happy is to train our mind to get rid of all the unwanted thoughts and worries. Self caring is a best way to feel happy, and satisfied at the end of the day. Including a set of self care night routine as a part of our day enables our mind to feel refreshed and clears up our mind to make it ready to face the next day. Here are the list of self care activities to follow before you go to bed, to have a peaceful night sleep and to kick start your next day with full energy:-


Self care night routine:-


1. Get in to comfy clothes:-


 


Change in to a comfortable cloth, if you feel uncomfortable or sweaty. Because going to bed with an uncomfortable outfit may hinder your sound sleep.


2. Put your phone aside:-


Limiting the screen time is very much important to ensure good sleep, but it is a very difficult task to avoid the screen time fully, but we can limit our selves to the maximum extend from being in front of the screen for a long periods during night time.


3. Write gratitude journal:-



Expressing gratitude makes us really feel great. Listing down the good things that happened for us in a day helps us feel happy and blessed.


4. Skin care:-



If you are not a person who pays a lot of attention for skin care and related activities, start practising it in a small attempt. Just use a cleanser and a moisturiser at the night time before going to bed. It helps improve the confidence and makes you feel good.


5. Aroma therapy:-



Use essential oil diffusers or scented candles in your bed room. Lavender scent is said to induce a good sleep, so just spread two drops of lavender essential oil over your pillow before going to sleep.


6. Dim the lights:-


Bright lights may make your brain to feel active and it may be difficult for you to fall asleep faster, so dim the lights at the night time for a better sleep.


7. Listen to relaxing music:-



Play some calm melodies or music that help you feel relaxed and refreshed.


8. Read a book:-



Read a book before going to bed, it is a great way to have a peaceful night sleep.


9. Stretch:-



Do simple stretching or yoga poses which helps induce sleep, and makes you feel better.


10.Pray/Meditate:-



Praying is another way of expressing gratitude, thanking God for every blessings and good things in our life, gives a good sense of satisfaction. Mindful practices like meditation also helps us feel great and peaceful.



So these are the certain self care activities, that help you get in to a good sound sleep and ensures a good mental health.
